How I Can Support You
As an NSET practitioner, I support you to explore your own sense of personal innate wholeness through the natural self approach, that sees the personal, social, ecological and soul aspect of what it means to be human. The whole self. This exploration of what it means to be fully human recognizes that our growing awareness of the reciprocal relationship with the natural environment is an essential part of our wholeness and recovery journey.
I work with participants who present with depression, grief, anxiety, PTSD, addiction recovery/ substance misuse and eating disorder. I have experience supporting participants who are neurodivergent who are with or without diagnosis.
The sessions are informed by the work of Bill Plotkin, Wild Mind and the plural mind/parts approach of Internal Family Systems, established by Dr Richard Schwartz. As a person centred approach, during our time together, we will focus on you and your individual experiences, choices and potential within an empathetic and supportive environment, allowing the natural environment to be part of that enquiry.
Each session begins and ends with a nature based grounding. There is time to be together and an invitation to spend some solo time out in nature, in nature based practices and therapeutic interventions. These are designed to support you on your healing journey of recovery and growth.
I ensure I hold a compassionate space for you to be met as you are. Tracking what is emerging for you and being an authentic, person centred therapist, I encourage a safe, ethical and supportive therapeutic relationship.

“Being part of the group was powerful as I have distanced myself from others in terms of social interaction for so long. I felt nervous prior to going, I was concerned that there may be factors that would be triggering, this particular journey can be complex when meeting others on a similar path. I was reassured and gently welcomed in”
